Brushless DC electric motor
The EM-8eⅢ collects mist generated in metal cutting processes. In this product, the charging electrode, which is the heart of the electrostatic precipitator, has been improved from the needle type to the brush type to increase the number of discharges, thereby further extending the life of the electrode maintenance cycle. In addition, the concentration of suctioned mist has been increased to 200mg/m3 compared to 100mg/m3 of the old model
Features:

Stable mist collection of high-density mist by brush-charging electrodes.

  1. The electrostatically trapping method keeps filter costs at zero
  2. Zero Filter waste and No Filter To Clog
  3. High efficiency greater than 99%
  4. Small-capacity models
  5. For oil/water soluble mist collection

High concentration mist
Oil and water-soluble mist
Compared to the previous model, the EM-8eIII can handle higher concentrations from 100mg/m3 to 200mg/m3.
General water-soluble mist collector has a concentration of 20mg/m3 , so it has 10 times higher collection power.
Compared with the old needle type, this model stably collects highly concentrated mist by increasing the number of discharge points per unit area by several hundred times.
Oil mist particle size is about one-tenth smaller than water-soluble mist. Oil mist concentration is 10 times higher than water-soluble mist. Oil mist mass increases 1000 times than water-soluble oil mist. The EM Series of electrostatic precipitator mist collectors is the only one that collects mist from your process machine which use pure and straight oil based cutting fluid.
Differences between oil mist and water-soluble mist

Mist characteristic is dependent on type of cutting fluid (coolant/lubricant) being use. It is whether water-based or purely oil-based. Oil mist is mainly caused by the vaporization of cutting fluid due to heat during the metalworking processes such as machining and stamping. On the otherhand, water-soluble mist is mainly caused by the cutting fluid scattering due to physical shearing during metalworking processes. Therefore, particle size of water-soluble mist is bigger (2~10μm or larger) compare to oil mist (2μm or smaller). The particle size difference between water-soluble mist and oil mist is more than 10 times. This is also the same in term of concentration. If you are using oil-based cutting fluid, EM series is the best choice.

Breakthrough electrostatically trapping method

Air containing mist particles passes through the charging section having the corona effect, and those mist particles become positively charged. When this charged mist flows into the final stages of the mist collector, it is electrostatically attracted to the mist collector plate (ground electrode) where it is trapped and collected.

No Clogged Filter

Unlike the old filter method, there is absolutely no drop in air flow due to clogging so air flow is always stable during operation.
